- I really enjoyed studying in Ehime University. In one year it became like
my second home, where I gained amazing knowledge about Japan, its culture
and of course Japanese language. Staff and teachers were very helpful and
friendly, even if some of them did not spoke English. My most visited places
were like Toshokan and Gakushoku, always delicious food and nice place
to take a nap before starting studies. Also amazing gym, did not let me
to gain many extra kilograms from delicious food. Studies were very nice.
Of course it was a little hard to start studying Japanese language, when
the teachers are teaching you in Japanese, but they were amazingly great,
and helped me to make a breakthrough in Japanese language. It was quite
a challenge, but I have proven myself and others that it is possible to
achieve such a significant improvement in my life.
- I will confess I had not known much about Japanese culture, its people,
and traditions and so on. Had not had a strong image about this country
at all. But during my stay, teachers, friends and all other people around
me at first gave me such a culture shock, which later became my casual
life, which now I miss the most and will miss it until I will come back,
and I promised myself that I will, because it is the country I would really
love to live in.
- Japan was its Shrines, Temples, Castles and all the cultural traditions. From the past Japanese old structures gave me chills of their greatness and significant sizes. Food was also nice, but it took couple of months to get used to it. Japanese students are very shy, but always looking an opportunity to have a chat with foreign people, who are staying in their country. I think foreigners should be more enthusiastic and give Japanese students a chance to chat with them. But it is easy to find new friends who really want to become one.
- People whom I became friends, we are still having a good relationship, even if there is a 10000km distance between us. Don’t be afraid to start studying this difficult language. It is not as hard as it looks from the first sight. And if you are a starter at Ehime University is the place to be. I would gladly come back for more. I visited many places in Japan, but Autumn Kyoto was the most beautiful to see, I really recommend sightseeing it. And don’t miss the Sakuras blooming period. That’s one of the things is a must see.
